The official launch of Ahern Chile, our first international location in Latin America, took place in Santiago, Chile on December 13th, 2016 with a grand opening party for customers and media.
Over 100 rental and end user customers from across Latin America travelled to Ahern Chile’s facility in Santiago for the event, which included machine demonstrations, an official ribbon cutting ceremony and an evening of festivities, including a live DJ.
Attendees enjoyed a canapés and drinks, and were able to see a 20-year-old Snorkel scissor lift provided by a local rental company, as well as an original 85-ft. Snorkel fire truck provided by the local fire department. The fire department were thanked during the ribbon cutting ceremony and gifted a copy of Art Moore’s book, ‘My Story’ detailing the history of the fire truck design.
